xAI launched Grok Bot in beta on August 11 (our full explainer): always-on AI agents that each get a persistent computer in the cloud (a browser, a filesystem, a terminal, MCP tool support), sign into your existing apps, and work through multi-step jobs without supervision. Bots keep files, logins, and memory between sessions, coordinate with each other, and learn a workflow by watching you run it once. xAI's own examples: a sales bot that researches accounts overnight and drafts the morning's outbound, a bot that keeps the CRM current, one that checks demo environments before the team wakes up. It's bundled into paid SuperGrok and Cursor plans, on desktop and iOS today, with an enterprise waitlist.
